Privacy, in plain language
How Selldir Hotels handles your data, in plain language.
1. What we store on your device
Your language, display currency and cookie choices are kept in your own browser. Demo-hotel favourites and collections are also stored only on your device.
2. What we store when you have an account
Only what is needed to run the product: your email address, the profile details you choose to enter, saved hotels and lists, saved searches, price alerts, booking requests and any review you write. Identity document numbers are stored so that only the last four digits can be read back, and Selldir never stores card numbers.
3. Search data
Search queries are used to return results and to improve ranking quality in aggregate. We do not sell personal search histories, and we do not build advertising profiles from them.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use only the browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your language, currency and cookie choices. No analytics, advertising trackers, pixels or session recording are used.
5. Providers and third parties
When you choose an external offer you continue to that provider's website, and their privacy terms govern the booking. Selldir does not show third-party ratings and never publishes anything to a third-party platform on your behalf.
6. Security of credentials and keys
Supplier credentials and API keys are never placed in the code that runs in your browser. They are held server-side only, and access is limited to the services that need them.
7. Your control and account deletion
You can permanently delete your account and personal data under Settings in My Account. Deleting an account removes your profile, saved hotels, lists, alerts and requests. Retention periods for any records the law requires us to keep will be defined before launch. Requests can also be sent to service@selldir.com.
8. Marketing
Marketing messages are always opt-in and separate from the transactional price alerts you explicitly asked for. Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe.
9. Changes and contact
This page will be updated as features go live. The operator responsible for your data is listed on the Legal notice page; details still awaiting verification are marked there. Privacy questions can be sent to service@selldir.com or through the Contact page.
Contact form
When you use the contact form we store your name, email address, topic, subject, message, interface language and a one-way hash of your IP address. We use this only to answer your request and to protect the form against abuse (rate limiting). Only authorised Selldir administrators can read submissions. Write to service@selldir.com to ask for access to or deletion of your message.
