Terms of Use
The rules for using Selldir Hotels.
1. What Selldir is
Selldir Hotels is an independent global hotel search, discovery, comparison and booking platform. We organise hotel information and, once supply sources are connected, the offers we receive from them, so you can compare them in one place. Selldir is not a hotel and is not owned by any booking platform.
2. How a booking is completed
Depending on the booking option selected, a reservation may be completed with Selldir, a hotel, an accommodation supplier or a third-party booking provider. Today only external booking options exist: when you choose an offer you continue to the provider's own website and enter into a contract with that provider under their terms, and payment, changes, cancellations, refunds and customer service for that booking are handled by them. Selldir does not currently sell, reserve, confirm or take payment for accommodation.
3. Pricing and availability accuracy
Prices and availability are supplied by third parties and can change at any moment, including between the time we receive them and the time you open the provider's site. Displayed amounts may exclude taxes, resort fees or local charges depending on the provider. Selldir aims for accuracy but cannot guarantee that a rate is still available.
4. Currency display
You may choose a display currency. Providers quote in their own currency, and any converted figure is an indication for comparison only. The amount actually charged is the one shown by the provider at checkout.
5. Commercial relationships
Selldir may earn a commission or referral compensation for some booking options. Not every option is of that kind. It never changes the price you pay, and it never suppresses or reorders a cheaper result — commission is not an input to ranking. If a placement is ever paid for, it is clearly labelled as Sponsored.
6. Accounts
Account features — saved hotels, price alerts, trips, booking requests and reviews — require an account. You are responsible for keeping access to your email or connected sign-in account secure. You can delete your account and associated data at any time under Settings; see the Privacy page.
7. Reviews and user content
Signed-in guests may submit one review per hotel. Every review is checked before it is published and is only marked as a verified stay when a stay has been confirmed. You keep ownership of what you write and grant Selldir a licence to display it on the service. We may remove content that is abusive, misleading, unlawful or written by someone who did not stay. Selldir does not publish content to third-party platforms on your behalf.
8. Intellectual property
The Selldir name, logo, interface, design system and content are owned by Selldir. Hotel names, photography, descriptions and third-party ratings remain the property of their respective owners and are shown under the terms of the relevant provider or API, including any required attribution.
9. Acceptable use
Please do not scrape, copy or resell Selldir data, attempt to interfere with the service, or use it to build a competing dataset. Automated access requires our written permission.
10. Service availability and changes
Selldir Hotels is under active development. Features may change, appear or be withdrawn, and the service may be unavailable at times. We will keep this page updated as the product grows.
